The innovative quest system we use is easy to learn, and can help you on your adventure with new items and knowledge.
There is a simple tutorial quest available at our spawn that teaches you the basics of questing, but a more in-depth guide is found here. How do you start a quest? To start a quest, you must talk to a Quest NPC. During your adventures, you will come across many NPCs with green name tags: these are generic NPCs, and they do not give out quests. Quest NPCs are marked out by having a blue name tag. While normal NPCs may be involved in quests (you might be asked to talk to one, for example), quests are only started by talking to Quest NPCs. To talk to the NPC, right-click them; you will then be shown a dialogue box containing some info about the quest, as well as it's requirements (if there are any). If you meet the requirements, type 'yes' into the chat to start the quest! |

After starting a quest, there are many things you could be asked to do. You may have to go to a specific place, talk to another NPC, collect some items or kill some mobs. You can only have one active quest at a time; type /quest to show your current objective and stage in your active quest. Quests range in difficulty, and can be as simple as talking to a few NPCs to having to complete a dungeon and kill a powerful boss. Quests can have many stages, and when you complete one the next starts; after completing all the stages in a quest, it is counted as done and you can claim your reward. Most quests can only be completed once, but some small ones can be done every so often to give a small reward.
Quest Rewards
After finishing a quest, you can gain a variety of rewards:
Quest Points: Quest points are given as rewards for most quests, and are a kind of 'prestige' system. You can use /quests top to see the players with the most total Quest Points
Experience: Experience goes towards levelling up, which can give access to new and more powerful items, and special bonuses like Fallen Stars.
Items: Some quests will give a Unique item as a reward; a powerful weapon or armour piece with special lore and attributes.
Access to new areas: Some quests will give you access to places that you would not otherwise be able to enter, like the Mynean Labyrinth, unlocking whole new quest lines.
Gold: Most quests will also give a monetary reward, in the form or Gold Fragments, Bars, Crowns or other types of currency.
